hot cold slider is there a light?

at night I cant see the hot cold slider for the heater on the radio cluster area but all the other parts a lit. should it be on or did they just skip that area?

There is a light but you cannot buy one anywhere, including the dealership. The unit is considered sealed and no internal parts are available. I have 2 bulbs out in mine and I have yet to find a replacement anywhere. Junkyard is the only option.
