3.0l won't start
2002 3.0L - Ran fine yesterday. Got in to go to the store today and it cranks fine but won't start. Need help ASAP. I hear the fuel pump run when I turn on the ignition switch; I have spark. Tried to remove the cap on the fuel rail to check pressure but couldn't unscrew it. :^( Still need help.

Re: 3.0l won't start
A plugged fuel filter will cause a no start. If you have good spark it's some kind of a fuel problem. A bad fuel pressure regulator will cause a problem. Use a small pair of channel locks be careful as most caps are plastic and check fuel pressure. Use a can of starting fluid and spray some into the intake if it starts you will be certain it's a fuel problem.
