96 Prelude Vtec. Saturday Night Kill list!
Hey guys had a pretty busy saturday nite racing some ppl. Alot of you probably think these cars are slow but i think they are honorable mentions.
First ill describe my car: 1996 prelude vtec. intake, exhaust, pulleys, msd ignition, msd blaster coil, msd wires, short shifter, act clutch. www.cardomain.com/id/thasandman203 first race i did was a 3 way. it was at a 3 way stop light that merged into 2 and then into one. I was in the middle and at my right was a chick in a newer celica gt and on my right were some guys in 2001 civic ex. Of course i smoked both of the car, what surprised me was that the civic ex actually beat the celica. second race was about 10 minuets later at a diffrent light. It was against a newer 2 door saturn, i dont know the model but there were some hosers with an exhaust so i had to show them whats up. No competion. Next race, on the way back was against some girls in a del sol. I dont know what model it was, but i even let em get a jump to see if they really were gonna race and then i smoked em. Next and last race was against my friend. We were parked and he challanged me. he has a 2003 passat 1.8t I actually thought it might be close. and since he has that shiftronic shit,i thought he would get a lil jump since there wasnt any clutch. we left the plaza and the first light we pulled up to was red and we raced. almost even in first gear, and then i tore him a new arse hole. we raced a second time to make sure it wasnt a fluke and same results. i really thought those 1.8t's had more to them. well that was my night. not the greatest cars, but hell it was fun |

did you repaint your car from blue to black or do you have to and just put on the same body kit? anyway you have a very hot car, could definently become a show car with a little more work. good kills, i guess it must suck dont have a real challenge.

Re: 96 Prelude Vtec. Saturday Night Kill list!
the blue one is my old car, i made most of it stock and sold it for a grand to my little brother. its a 92 si. The black one is the one im now driving, i just switched everything over that i had done to the blue one. Needless to say the its a different driving experiance goin from the automatic non vtec to the manual vtec.
There are alot of fast cars where i live, and its not like i just pick on slow cars lol, thats just what i came up against that night. |

the reason the ex beat the celica is becuase from what you said the celica was a gt....which means its got alot of nothing. the gt-s is something to deal with though-it woulda hung with you reallll nice

Re: 96 Prelude Vtec. Saturday Night Kill list!
the celica could have lost to the ex cause it was auto maybe......and if you want to try a 1.8t race a golf on a tank like the passat....but nice kills none the less.....
