Dino 206 sp
Ciao guys,
even if my name is Love gt40 (for the faith and presence I have in my fav forum, the gt40s.com ) I am also deeply in love with some italian cuties. One of theme is the Dino 206 s. Searching around the net I noted also this car hasent been done in 1/24 scale, so I am thinking to build one by my own. Can anybody please give me some website where i can see in detail this wonderful little car? Thank u for your help

Re: Dino 206 sp
In fact there was a 1/24 kit made my Modelers in 1990, I have one... it is a simple resin kit(no engine) which is extremely rare.
Here are some pics I have collected. http://public.fotki.com/BrianVenable...ri-dino-206sp/

Several European companies have made copies of the Modelers Dino 206S. Atleast 2 other companies in Japan made kits of the Dino 206S. They are not as good as the Modelers by any means. I hope Hiro will step up and do a Dino someday instead of doing cars we already have! Check Italian Horses for the list. I also made a 166P under Scale Designs brand, the 1965 Dino, but it is also out of production( I don't have any for sale). Re: Dino 206 sp
really thank u guys.
Once again I like something long time OOP Many pics in than nice website u gave me Brian can be nice modern racing replicas. I heard there are several in aussie ans NZ. Very clear pics anyway, It is a very good documentation, thnk u. Tom , does this dino share rims with any other Ferrari from the past?..or was a special rim done only for this Dino? I like a lot this 206s she seems a smaller p4.

Re: Dino 206 sp
Hello,
I 'm another great fun of this little beauty!!! So i spent a lot of money to buy a copy of modelers kit. (from an ebay seller) Not as espected. Poor resin quality and many -many work to do on it. See the photos... The wheels of thiw copy are really bad. So need replacement. Do you know any solution for this wheels (campagnolo?). Thanks. |

Notice, this is only a copy of modellers kit, not the original. Also its nas no decals in the box, means extra cost for an aftermarket set!!!! I have the same idea for fujimi's 206 Dino Competizione kit. But this means I must buy anothee two kit. One for donor and one for make the also beautiful 206 Dino Competizione. |

Yes, also I think dino competizione wheels are the same....so those should be the same also from Airfix dino think nowadays Jim glickenhaus owns the real unique car existing. The modeller kit in the last link looks really nicer in quality.

Re: Dino 206 sp
The Heller Dino wheels are not the right size. The Modelers Dino 206S is the only 1/24th model that nailed the 206S shape. It really is a very nice curbside kit. That copy is the basic kit, without decals, photoetch and some parts. HTM in Italy copied alot of the older Japanese kits, and I know he also did a few of the Modelers Dino.

Re: Dino 206 sp
HTM, Historic Targa Models. They did a couple of Alfa TZ's also. I still see them on Ebay Italy every so often.

Re: Dino 206 sp
very nice pics, but that's Jim's yellow Dino Competizione prototype , not the 206s. It is a different car.

At least maybe that link will alert people to the Ultimate Car Page, if they don't already know about it. The site has hundreds of gorgeous photos and informative text.
