Ebbro McLaren Honda MP4-30
Ok, so I am probably the only person excited about this, but let's just leave it that I am very excited about this! I have spent the entire season lamenting their poor performance 1. Because come on, McLaren Honda! 2. Because come on, Alonso! and 3. Because come on, who's gonna make a kit of a car that finished in the points once!? Answer to #3, at least, Ebbro!
http://www.1999.co.jp/eng/10347735 What's double cool about it, is that even though it's Ebbro so it's gonna be spendy, no one cares enough to make any fancy machined-parts, Photo-Etch, super-mega detail sets for it so it'll stay well within my skill level.

Re: Ebbro McLaren Honda MP4-30
I'm excited as well. Plan to buy more then one. Hopefully somebody will come up with
conversion decals and different noses and wheels to make Force India, Toro Rosso, Renault and potentially even RBR11. There are of course many differences between these cars, but if you aren't concerned with 100% accuracy, some interesting conversions are possible, imho. Ebbro responded to my question about release time on Facebook and they said November. Let keep our fingers crossed. It's way faster then normal Ebbro release cycle. But if they don't release it this year, who will by it next year, when MP4/31 is out ? |
