car problems

my car shut off on me while driving and i pulled over and try to start it again no turnover and no smoke or nuthin was comin up so i looked at the battery gauge and it was 0 so i looked and the lights and everything still worked but the car wouldnt start i didnt think it was the starter cause the car wouldnt have shut off on me...then i tried to get a jump and that didnt work.......

Loose ground wire? I'd throw a new battery in for starters and see what happens

Have your alternator tested. Had a car die on me out of the blue before as well. You said car wont "turn over". You mean the starter wont turn the engine? That means no voltage for sure if it just dies out of the blue because of lack of voltage. I would test that alternator.
