94 Altima Speakers

I have a 94 Altima that I'm going to be replacing my speakers in. I had a post asking the sizes of the speakers that I posted last year, but never did get around to replacing them do to not having the money. I finally got the money & want to replace them which in the next month. Haven't had a time to check my Altima for speaker size because of the cold weather we've had where I live. Does anyone truly know what size of speaker is a drop in without having to do any modifications, as I have sources saying that:
6.5"s 5"x7"s 6"x8"s 4"s
all are direct fit for the front speakers and that:
6"x9"s 6.5"s 6.75" 5.25"s
are all direct fit for the rear speakers.
Even I know that theres no way that all of those different sizes could be a direct fit & that maybe only one of those sizes are direct fits. The sizes I've mentioned above has come from the following sources:
www.sounddomain.com
www.crutchfield.com
www.walmart.com
and also from the post I had last year here on automotive forums. So please, do not tell me its a certain speaker size unless you know for fact, because yea all those speaker sizes may work, but I'm not looking for a speaker that will require mods or an adapter, I'm looking for nothing more than a direct fit. However if you know what size is an exact fit, please post on here and let me know, that way I can actually check prices of what I want before taking my car apart just to measure speaker size.

Re: 94 Altima Speakers

Hi

i have a 94 altima and i replaced all the speakers.

The one's in front are 5x7". the one's in back are 6.5" round.

My speakers did NOT fit SEAMLESSLY, but i used no adapters, and i screwed them in sufficiently. They're tight, they dont budge, and there's no rattling whatsoever, so its up to you what you want to do.

Keep in mind that brand names of speakers will vary in size SLIGHTLY even if they are the same dimension.

FYI i have sony xplod's in the front and pioneers in the back.

Re: 94 Altima Speakers

Thanks for your reply. I'm assuming your speaker sizes are the same as mine since they're both 94's.
