Re: Neutral safety switch
My s60 would not start again today! I tried to start in Park and neutral several times and it would not do anything. I went out and wiggled the shift cable on top of the Neutral Safety Switch and i heard something pop. I went in and tried to start and it started. Is there something in there that could be hanging up?

Re: Neutral safety switch
Neutral safety switches are commonly located either at the base of the shifter, under the console, or at the forward end of the tranny - where the shifter cable connects to an arm sticking out.
