Need help with keyless remote

I have a 1991 Chevy Lumina 3.1 and i just purchased a keyless remote. The instructions say there is a yellow button to cycle the locks but i cannot find it. I know my car supports the keyless remotes because i have used them before. I need help locating the button or the control box. The only thing I can find is a switch that turns the alarm on/off. If anyone could help me with this it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you =]

Re: Need help with keyless remote

Most GM keyless transceiver modules I've seen are located in the trunk, on the driver's side behind the interior panel. Pull it down at the top and see if you see it in there. I think that's what you're looking for, but not sure.

If the '91, '92, '93 Lumina will support a keyless remote...I'd be VERY surprised.

Aftermarket, maybe. OEM parts transplanted into the vehicle, maybe. Stock? Not that I know of.

'Course, I'd be glad to learn that my Luminas can be keyless; I'd buy transmitters tomorrow...

END trade with Communist China.
