The EF (boxier) models are '88-'91, and the EG models are '92-'95.

you can call it a lift back to but ford called it a hatch from the factory and it is indeed a hatch on the back of the car.

Man I'm so tempted to say Cosworth Escort, or Mustang fox body (they were hatcbacks), maybe even Focus SVT, or a Civic. However as long as the Gremlin is, was, and always shall be a hatchback then Gremlin it is! X model with a 401.

Re: favorite hatch back

anything with a hatch would qualify so u cud pretty much go with an integra if wanted well a 2dr 94-01 anyways but using these guidlines i wud have togo with something like a Z32. it had a hatch but if u wanted to know wut hatch back in case of 3dr like the ek9, gti golf, eg6, etc. i wud have to say prolly a civic or a crx i know it is honda but thats the only 3dr hatchs i wud drive really. have a nice day

I have a 1990 Civic hatch which is virtually the same as a crx and i hate it, but thats just me

well dude back in the late and mid 80's the crx was the number one selling sports car in it's class and back then it was quick but i understand callin them slow and all but with a simple engine swap it wud be faster then u think. well this is just my opinion.
