Man, we were so STUPID back then, huh? I probably had the same instincts when in High School (After all, I engaged in the famous "Ford Sux/Chevy Sux" debate when in actuality I was nothing more than a DUMB ASS punk at the time! It's probably a GOOD THING that LEGO didn't have a vehicle in High School!) LEGO Last edited by LEGO MY E; 09-06-2004 at 09:13 PM. |

i had a few cars i hated in h.s. one was a early 90s stationwagon escort with a shitty as fart can on it and a set of 15inch house spearkers connected to a sony amp from walmart. he said he had it up to 112 in less than a minute/ one day i pulled up next to him in the parking lot with my somewhat decent system on 2 12 inch infinity perfect and a profile ca 600 the subs were making his car raddle so badly his window motor got jammed. he also said he could beat a 91 rolla with a 4age conversion with a tanabe fireball style muffler and a aem cold air intake from a 93 rolla with a weapon r dragon intake, running 16.78 at the track. bullshit.

I also think there are too many V6 Mustangs running around. I live in small town america and there are about 5-6 at my school. Every single person driving them thinking they are the baddest thing ever. Then I pull up in my dad's 90 5.0 (which is very nice, clean, good looking car) and shut them up. I've been told I have the only "true" mustang at our school. Last, the point about not being able to handle a V8, I have to object. I see kids in eclipses (also thinking they are gods gift to racing, girls, ect) too dumb to handle a little 4-banger. It isn't the size of the engine that matters if you can't handle it or not. If you can't handle a V8, then you probably can't handle a V6, V10, 4-banger, whatever. The only thing size matters about (I think) is how fast you kill yourself. Even though I love the Mustangs, I agree with your argument CamaroSSBoy346 about the car. Of course, the car was made to target the teenage crowd so... Also, the car I most dispise in high school is probably the eclipse. I think that when you buy that car a free chip to go on your shoulder is thrown in. |

This stupid ass in a big white chevy truck with a big engine. He thought he was so cool until I blew him away in my little cavalier Also can't stand this kid who knows nothing about cars AT ALL but thinks he is so cool in his dented up '97 or so sunfire just because it is newer than mine. Also can't stand this kid that drives a '96 or so monte carlo ls and thinks he has a muscle car. I rode in it one day and it reminded me of my brothers 96 riviera with the same engine: slooooooow

Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
There's not a specific one at my high school, but everyone thinks that their Cavalier, Sunfire, or Civic can take everything on the road. Right now I have a V6 Camaro, but I don't think that I can beat everyone. I know that right now I don't stand a chance against most of the sports cars that most of the rich kids have. But the way I think of it, in twenty years, I'll have an awesome car, and the rich kids probably won't have anything left then.

Re: The car we most dispise from our high school,or work.
At school theres this kid that bought another guy's Civic POS and I always see him revving around town like he's the coolest thing in the world. The fastest Civic around here runs something retarded like high 14s or something. These cars are really lame.
I also hate this one guy in a yellow crx with a japanese motor or something who is always racing me from stoplights when I'm under normal acceleration. He always loses too. It's really stupid. |

Some Middle East kids driving Escalade EXT to school everyday, driving like they are driving a 300ZX...
And that big O truck just blocks the whole view of my car if I'm following it...

Hmm... I wonder if there is some sort of connection between the two?? The Escalade gets what, 13 MPG? We know of a vehicle for 20% the cost that gets twice the gas mileage, don't we? |

I could make a list of assholes a mile long that were nothing more than posers. However, I'll name the most recent. Here at work there is a girl that drives a Civic Si. She has all the cosmetic shit done to it, a carbon fiber hood, body kit, fart can, crappy cross-drilled rotors, and some great stickers too. For the longest time I was curious if she had anything done under the hood or not. After all she drag races it at Rocky Mountain Raceway and has the back seat removed. One day I got my wish and saw he car at a local car show representing a local rice shop. The hood was up and I went to take a peek only to find out all she has was an intake, cam gear, and a lot of fancy dress up items. She thinks the car is fast just because she drag races it. I would bet money that my derelict project car could drop he like a bad habit. I would hate to see her time slips.

Well, theres a few, one is the row of ricers that try to show each other up after school by spinning the tires or redlining it in first, or whatever. So every once in a while I'll leave them in a cloud of smoke to shut them up. Next, would be all the guys with bullshit stories. Like an integra with just a turbo, that when he shifted down to 2nd going 70 MPH would spin the tires, or a 400$ turbo that will take a civic si up to 300 horsepower.
thank God I'm done with high school. |
