Possessed magnum

[Troy magnum]

My 05 magnum is acting possessed. First the tach and gas gauge quit working (distance till empty still worked on display) then everything on the column, (steering wheel controls for dash msgs and radio controls), turn signals, high beam, wipers, cruise control all went dead and the headlights only come on when the switch is in the “off” position. A guy at auto zone told me that there is a device called a “body control module” that could be responsible for all this. Is there such a thing and could it ?
