Exclamation Calmini has a new steering set up for the Xterra...

More info here...

Differance between the Calmini and SLR system (aside from the price) is that the Calmini uses all new parts
where as the SLR system has reconditioned parts. Both seem beefy enough. Calmini's is a more simple
design though.:smoka:

Didn't Ian Firth break a moog?

I read it again...its an option to the $470 item.

He broke a Moog idler arm, not a Moog tie rod end.

Brent is correct... the ilder arm that is in the Calmini kit is a forged piece that is of Calmini design. And from what I gather the Moog ends that are being used are HUGE (like used for full size trucks).

Looks like a good design... as usual for calmini products. I still dont understand why they insist on painting everything "pale-ass" blue. Dont they know that pale blue matches absolutely NOTHING? I doubt it would even look good on an X painted the same color. They shouls have gone with yellow or red (warm collors) that actually work with other colors.

My "Goldush" X will look mighty funky with "pale-ass" blue parts showing underneath.

Probably because it is their corporate color for the last 15 years.

It's not pale blue either, it's Bimini blue or something like that.
