'92 Chevy Z71 Fuel Pump
What would it typically cost to replace a fuel pump? I was recently quoted roughly $652 including a $78 towing bill.

Re: '92 Chevy Z71 Fuel Pump
Do it yourself man, With a 6 pack, good friend and a haynes manual by your side its not that bad. I had a 92 and the hardest part was getttin the fuel tank off, took bout an hour, and an hour to get it back on. The fuel pump itself took bout 20min. I forget how much i paid for my pump but i think it was only like 40$ from advance. I have hardly any mechanical knowlege and it went pretty smooth. So i would reccomend doint it your self. Youll save a lot of money. Hope this helps. But if u stilll chosse to have it done by a mechanic, they quoted me around 400 at a local shop down here in ga.
