...and did not care to tell us about it?

I don't get the time to scan through Ebay as often as I used to, mostly because I consider it a lower priority now that the results are 75% models and very little in the way of special F1 items like we used to see.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

It's been on there as a 28 day (or so) listing, and I am only [selfishly] watching it to see if it sells and what it goes for so I can have a rough guess as to what my XP5 suit carrier would fetch were I to sell it. I thought others would see it listed too so didn't think of adding it as a possible addition here as i'm not going to buy it

Go on Erik, you know you want it

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

That was a lighthearted frown - no need to explain yourself. I know you weren't selfishly keeping it from us as it has a 'Buy it Now' price, so if you wanted it at that price it would already be yours, and then you'd definitely be telling us about it.

I really don't want it to be honest - even if it were being offered at 1/5th the price, I'm not a buyer. I wouldn't have any use for it and it's not something I'd be eager to display anywhere. I do think it's neat to see because detailed images of the luggage pieces are fairly hard to come by and that was my whole reason for sharing.

The more I think about it though, no one should be buying it. It really belongs to #014's current owner and should have been included with the purchase of the car. There's always a chance that when the item was discovered the seller made an attempt to rectify this - at least I would hope that they did. I'm not sure the car's owner will have any interest in it at this point, but if they did the right thing for the seller to do would be to pass it along to them at no cost with apologies for the oversight I think.

Perhaps the new owner has a new set of luggage with the detailing in white with black accents and a few other bits added on?

That is for sure a possibilty, but I have been told through a credible source that Golf are not terribly keen on remaking those items.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

It's not something I have purchased (around EUR 600), but thought it fitted in here.

Yahoo Auctions has something unusual for sale. If price was no issue, who would consider buying this?

~£460 for a Andrew Gilbert-Scott F1 GTR [of #25R and #28R fame] race suit? Sure, I would. If only I could read Japanese and have some way of getting it home.....

HOH quite expensive stuff indeed, but it could be much more expensive also. Rare stuff has good prices.

Re: Show us your F1 Memorabilia / F1 related items you've bought

I've bought this and took delivery of it tonight A wrap-around canvas print of Andy's #13R going past the famous Goodwood Wall at speed

This is going on my wall by the PC

I know George, the photographer, off another site and if you want to see what George has to offer and perhaps purchase not just F1 GTR prints but others, visit here
