Best shocks? I use my Frontier v6 as a work truck
My mechanic put on some shocks that he ordered on the spot from Napa. He said they would be good enough for the truck. It's been about 8 months and I'm convinced that the shocks are way too light duty for the truck.
When I go over rough roads the front end is like a pogo stick...sometimes I even feel it doing huge shock travel on the interstate at 65 mph. This can't be the safest way to drive the truck. What model shocks would be good for it?....keeping in mind that I tow a trailer more than half the time that is as heavy as 4,000 lbs on occasion. Suggestions much appreciated. |

Re: Best shocks? I use my Frontier v6 as a work truck
I trust Monroe Reflex Shocks(Light Truck Shock) or Monroe Gas-Magnum truck shocks. The gas magnum shocks are very stiff, so if you choose them thats what you'll get. Hope this helps.
