Heya, I am a 22 year old teacher living in Japan. I bought a 1994 Skyline GT (RB-20DE) from a departing American about a week and a half ago, however it is nearly stock standard. The wheels and tires have been replaced with newish racing type models and the filter was replaced with an HKS part. Now that the shaken (bi-annual inspection) has been renewed, I plan to do small mods every so often over the next year or so (budget permitting). It is currently at 89910 kilometers and is in great shape; in fact, the only parts replaced during the inspection (which examines pretty much every aspect of the car) were the front shocks, which had worn down pretty significantly and was the apparent cause of a lot of creaking during acceleration and braking.
Edit: Forgot that I took a picture the day I bought it... http://augustus.scs.uiuc.edu/japan/IMG_0049.jpg |

I have a R-32 GTR with a few mods to get me to 250rwkw. Also has mod suspension which makes it handle fantastic making the car incredibly neutral through cornering.
If someone can tell me how I can post a pic. Mick. |

Sure,
1997 R33, GT2530 turbos, Mines twin airflow meters Mines Cams, Fully ported, HKS forged pistons, HKS rods, HKS 2,7l Steel crank, 720cc injectors, (in about a week) Hand made intercooler, AP 6 Pot brakes, 18" Magnesion wheels, Carbon Dash, Gikon close ratio gearbox... You want me to carry on? Er check it out if you want www.itstheweb.com. Its a bit fast, well actually bloody fast but the car did have standard bottom end which I blew running at 1.4Bar on the autobahn, hence the steel bottom end now, just need to run it in. |

Re: Who here Actually owns a Skyline
might as well add my car to the list...
Daily Driver - 1993 R32 GTS N/A 2.0L 2.5" Exhaust, mandrel bent extractors, oversized cat, factory option front n rear sway bars, HKS airbox, and other than a single plate ceramic clutch that's about it for mods. Soon to be project car - 1989 R32 GTR awaiting importation, currently sittin in mate's backyard in Osaka. Paid for the car, gotta wait for approval to get tha beyatch into the country, should be around Sept 2004. I'll update this post with pics when I get around to finding them.
