Has anybody replaced the differential bushings? How big a pain is it, special tools, ect.?

Re: 2006 cts differential bushings
Lifting it tomorrow morning to find out. I believe it's the bushings because it shows all the signs (clunk into gear, when speeding up from a coast, etc). Probably the fronts, but possibly all three.

Re: 2006 cts differential bushings
Got it in the air, front bushing is bad. Ordered Revshift replacements, don't have to press out the rear sleeves, just clean out the rubber from the steel sleeves and insert the new poly bushings.

Re: 2006 cts differential bushings
That makes it a little less of a hassle. Periodic cleaning and lubrication of the body rubber (including these mounts) is part of routine maintenance.
