these generally dont work because you place them in the tube that leads to your throttle plate. they are designed to spin the air to better mix the gas and air but by the time the "vortex" of air reaches the combustion chamber its no longer a vortex.

1. air goes into air box
2. air goes through air filter
3. air travels down tube to the throttle plate
4. air goes into intake manifold and travels through the ports to the intake vales.
5. air goes past valves into combustion chamber where it meets gas vapor and mixes.


especially once the air meets the ports and valves it will most likely destroy any vortex.
