Hemi cuda sighted

Check this out I'm rolling through the parking lot of Armstrong State University in Sav. Georgia when I spot a Purple Hemi Cuda. It wouldn't be the end of the world but it was parked right up front next to normal everyday door dinger cars. I got the chance to check the car over and couldn't believe that anyone would park a $80,000+ car in a normal parking lot. I asked someone later about it and they said they knew the guy and said it was a hemi and he drives it to school every now and then.

Damn I love those cars. My neighbor has a Charger with a Hemi...but it's not the original Hemi, just a crate but it's still cool and fast.

Re: Hemi cuda sighted

I doubt it was worth that much, unless it is all original and matching numbers with very very low miles. Nonetheless, it's not about how much the car costs - that's a really cool sighting!

Re: Hemi cuda sighted

Well, there was a pristine Hemicuda with 9,000 original miles on the Barrett Jackson auto auction that went for $147,000 last week. Beautiful car.

Re: Hemi cuda sighted

well, it was at 235k and then it dropped back down to the lower number for some reason. Or it was showing coverage from the previous year. I dunno, I watch Speed too much, lol. But I would rather see a sweet classic than a new Ferrari. Because when you see a restored classic, you know someone put blood, sweat, and tears into it as opposed to simply the guy who has more money than brains and buys a new Exotic.

Re: Hemi cuda sighted

and this is from someone who drives an "import". But my car serves its purpose and sees days at the track.

Re: Hemi cuda sighted

If the Barret Jackson cuda went for 235k you dont think a nonmatching #'s cuda could go for 80k?

Nope, not unless it is a perfect clone. It would need all the correct stamping and overspray just as a clone to make that kind of money. On the other hand, you could have a basket-case numbers matching, and then you would get a nice sum!
