Import Vs. Domestic

I Have Been A Car Fanatic Ever Since I Was Like 5. My Grandpa Owned A 240z. Loved It. I Am Open To Both Domestic And Imported Cars, But I Am In More Favor Of The Imports. Since I Am Asian. First Off 10% Of American Cars Are Fast. Corvettes, Vipers, Prowlers, And The New Srt Neon Is Pretty Decent. Mustangs I Personally Think What The Hell, They Are Heavy, Ugly, And To Big. Old School Mustangs Are Decent I Admit But The New Models Like 96+ I Think Ruins The Mustang Name. I Have Gone Out Racing With My Guy In A 91 Civic Hatch That Is Tuned Pretty Good. Not To Say Its Faster Than Any Domestic But So Far We Have Been Able To Hold Up To Firebirds, New Corvettes, And Mustangs For Sure. I Agree Domestics Are Fast. But If U Look At It This Way What Company Spends More Time On Performance Imports Or Domestics? Obviously Domestics. Although The New Evos N Stis That Finally Came Over To The States Have Performance In Mind. American Cars Arent As Well Engineered As Jap Cars. Do U Guys Actually Think Honda Was Thinkin V8 Killer When They Made The Honda Civic? Nooooo. But If U Take A Jap Car That Was Made For Performance, I Garantee It Could Keep Up To Any American Car. I Also Think That We Imports Have A Harder Time Competeing On The Streets Than The Domestics. And Jap Performance Cars On The Highway Are Definately Kings Of The Highway Over Domestics. Tuned American Cars Will Win A Quick Dash, But Japs Got The Upper Hand In Highway Runs. You Can Tlk Smack On The Streets, But Bring A 400hp V10 On The Highway Vs A Tuned Supra With The Same Amount Invested, Then U Can Get 600hp Or So In A Lighter Body. They Are Tooo Quick. Or Japs Nissan Skylines Will Be Able To Handle Almost Any Domestic. Basically I Respect American Cars, But They Are Costly, Low Mpg, And Too Big, N Poorly Engineered.
