2001 Yukon XL ABS Pump Motor

Does anyone know if I can pull the ABS Pump Motor off to bench test it?
It looks like there are 2 bolts attaching it to the valve block.
Can I disconnect the connector and remove the bolts w/o spilling brake fluid all over?

Thanks in advance!

The pump motor itself just uses a power and ground. You should be able to apply 12v and a ground to get the motor to run. You will NOT be able to actuate the valves in the valve block (BPMV).

Good luck with this one. Check my posts from before. I went thru a long experience with the motor until I finally took it off, used tape to cover the pipes and sent it away to be fixed. Came back, put it on and all good since then. Tried many other things including grinding the ground to see if it was good before I finally bit the bullet and had it rebuilt. As I recall, wasn't too expensive especially compared to buying a new one.
