1996 328i -can't open truck

I can no longer open the trunk as the lock has been pushed in, and I cannot get it to pop back out. Is there another way to open the trunk? My ride needs some trunk love. Please advise, thanks.

Well a variety things could be the issue. I myself have a 96 328i that I bought recently and water could have gotton in, it could have frozen shut from moisture freezing in it, or it could have rusted or i might just need to be oiled. Hope this helps

Well one thing bimmers are known for is their electronic problems. It could be that the sensors need to be reset which happened to the person i bought my car from or it could be just the electronic system acting up. Next time you get the oil changed or take it into the shop, I would have them check it. Make sure its at a BMW dealer because bmws are known for being "unique". hope this helps
