Re: Exhaust

they are all the same...why pay for a name?

there are lesser know brands out there that offer the same set-up, wit a lower price. summit catalogs mufflers work just as well as dynomax or whatever...

hell, why even get a muffler*...

Re: Exhaust

Apexi N1 cat-back on mine. Sounds awesome, but wicked loud. That can be solved with a silencer though. Very aggresive and good power gains on my 240sx.

Re: Exhaust

they aren't all the same. There is a lot of difference in the quality of the metal and welds and the internal structure of the mufflers.

That being said, the best quality in my opinion is Billy Boat Performance Exhaust

Re: Exhaust

Here's the current set-up on my Volvo 240 wagon(n/a):

2.25" Starla OE Turbo exhaust w/single rear muffler, all painted w/hi-temp black paint, 3.5" Jones Exh. 'Silver Vein' exh. tip

It gives my Swedish steel a lil' growl, but no annoying drone.
