For my 96 300zx it says to check the power steering fluid at certain temperatures to know if its at the correct hot or cold level, but how do i know what temperature its at? Do i need a thermometer?

Re: Power steering fluid temperature check

If you want to check it at the cold level, do it in the morning before you drive the car. If you want to check it at the hot level, do it after driving the car for a while.

yes right, it's better if you check the temperature before driving and after driving.
