Exclamation idle trouble

HHR begins to idle kinda hard when I turn on air-conditioning,replaced the spark plugs ( thought that was the issue) but it's still doing the same though not all of the time as before only when I turn on the air any suggestions? thanks in advance

Re: idle trouble

If it hasn't already been done, it would be a good first step to clean the throttle body bore, throttle plate, and IAC air passages. In cases of more severe contamination, the IAC may have to be removed, cleaned, and lubricated, then installed.

Re: idle trouble

I agree wqith Blue, especially if you slightly open the throttle and idle improves....

There are no problems on the road?

Re: idle trouble

yes but only in the acceleration when I have the heater or air conditioning on but it's really not that noticeable so it's very minor ,its most notable when in park and having the affirmation on .Been having rainy weather so I haven’t done anything so waiting on good weather l post back
