Something to show off, important step indeed: subframe and sunspension test (mostly cast in resin) , everithing fit very well

Re: 4X lancia fulvia scratchbuild (Zagato... Zero..)

Thanks guys!
Finally I tested sunspension and steering geometry on the casted and finished part, in a real build. It works. Not easy due the complexity of the real stuff.

I didn't decided yet Tom, still developing tools. May be ScuderiaItalialab if my partners agree or gdetailfactory, in any way indipendent from mainstream producers and mainly focused on the business modeller to modeller.

Sounds good. I would like one of the Fulvia Zagato Daytona kits when they are done. I suppose you could sell them as printed sets, but that is very expensive.

By the way, I used to run Scale Designs, a small resin kit company and still a decal company(all printed by Cartograf), so I know it can take a lot of effort to get them in production.

Off corse I know you Tom as well as Scale Design, I have got a 33 spider, unfortunately sold in a moment of needs: very nice kit and superb PE set I remember.

I'll sell as usual resin casted kits, plus decals and PE, all finished (coloured) parts you see are still casted in resin

Re: 4X lancia fulvia scratchbuild (Zagato... Zero..)

Gionc, the cars and the details look really great! One thing about the Fulvia, the surface between the beltline and shoulder line which runs across the entire bodyside, seems to be dead flat. Check it on the real thing, it is a nice bold surface.

Re: 4X lancia fulvia scratchbuild (Zagato... Zero..)

similar Corrado's concept about the tail of the Fulvia, as well as the edges of the 4 wheels fenders...
I loved his clear way to explain exactly my opinion in a long facebook chat with my friend

Re: 4X lancia fulvia scratchbuild (Zagato... Zero..)

thanks a lot Corrado and Paolo for your kind comments, basically we're discussing the issues with paolo trough FB. I'll keep in mind these touches before to do the mold. Today I visited a good collection, and I'll subscribe all your notes Corrado:

fu2 by giovanni castello, su Flickr

fu1 by giovanni castello, su Flickr

despite the "bold" section it is more in the back of the car, and as for the zagato I'll try to keep a more "crispy" and sharp appeal cos you all know what happen with primers, fillers... dozen hands of paint and trasparent.... I'll try to do my job on the border line
