Need some info about 'tegs

hey, i'm working on a school project that involves cars and stuff. I dont know too much about 'tegs so i did abit of reasearch. Now, i've got quite abit of info already, i just can't find one thing. I need to know at what speed the car will be going on a flat surface at the red (8k RPM) on gear 1, 2, 3, etc (dont have to be exact). Also, is it different on each 'teg (ie: GS-R differnet form LS, R, ect)? If so i'd like to konw about the GS-R. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated.

Well mine does about 37 in first,60 in second and 90 in third. I think that's about what the 94+GS-R's do too.

sorry didn't realize I posted under my friends user name. My car is a 92 teg gs-r but it doesn't have the stock tranny or motor. I think the gearing is still fairly close though.

thanks alot, one more thing. When your engine is at 8k RPM and you upshift, what RPM does it drop to on each gear? around 5k?

The engine is meant to stay in V-tec when you're right at redline and shifting so it drops to around 5600-5800 rpm cause that's usually where the V-tec kicks in.

my 94 rs was 31/62/91 for the first 3, and spomewhere around 120 for 4th, just like the 95 GSR, but my engine was like 1000 rpms lower at redline than the GSR
