2005 Frestyle - Stalls or almost stalls on startup
My Freestyle has been stalling sometimes when I start it. It will start up fine but then the RPMS will go low and seems like it is struggling to stay running. Then in a couple of seconds it resumes normal idling. Yeserday it died on my wife twice and the third time she had to give it some gas to keep running. Afterwards it started and ran fine for the remainder of the day.
This is an intermittant problem and usually happens when from a cold start. |

Auto Zone and Advanced Auto will scan your vehicle for free. Post the codes for review.

Sounds like a sticking IAC. Could be something else but I'd start by checking to see if it's the problem first.

Check for a vacuum leak and change the PCV valve.
