Re: Stop the Insanity
Beginning to run the 434 strokers in all classes, no vacuum rules as of yet, but I do see it coming. lol
It seems like the 355 cid doesn't like to hold up to the big half mile?? |

Re: Stop the Insanity
434, ya'll using Dart blocks?
The local asphalt tracks here stopped the open motors, gotta run spec or crate. Because we have a flow bench, the rulemakers think our customers have an unfair advantage....even for things you don't use a flow bench for, like unmodified carburetors. So they get torn down regularly and pretty excessive too. One had all 16 lifters taken apart to be sure they were all hydraulic. That's ok, he had 7 1st's and 5 2nd's out of 12 races and won the points championship....lol

Re: Stop the Insanity
Impressive records there. We run stock blocks, decked and bored. Stroker crank. The teardown thing..........Yeah we run into that too. More so because other racers are just big whiney asses. lol

Re: Stop the Insanity
Yeah
One customer was bummed out by the rule letting modified run with stock chassis trucks...2300-2000 Pinto engines. I told him to get some dirt tires and start having fun.
