INTERCOOLER PIPING wrapped?

Hey, I just got a new speed 3 and am going to change it to a front mount. my question is if I use exhaust wrap and cover it will it help keep the temp. inside Lower/Higher/Same, wanted to know I'm making my own and wanted to wrap it and then spray with black ceramic exhaust paint, any advice?

Thanks..

Re: INTERCOOLER PIPING wrapped?

If I understand the question:

Wrap will insulate the piping and keep the temp inside "the same" If it happened to be cooler than the temp outside the pipes then it would keep it "cooler". It is more likely that the inside is warmer and insulating it would keep it warmer than non-insulate. I would rather have fins in that case.
