power steering, wow what a pain

Yes its sounds easy, remove the pulley, then remove the 3 bolts the disconnect the 2 hoses, remove the belt and its off.
Ya right, I had to heat up the 3 bolts to get them to break lose, the tensioner was froozen, now I can't get the power steering pully back on.

Wow!, what year is your Sable?

I have replaced the power steering pump on my '94 and didn't remove the pulley.

You may have to take your pump to a machine shop and have the pulley pressed on.

Its was a 99, and I had to hone out the iner of the pully to get it on, It has to be put on after its mounted due to the bracket on the car.

Now can anyone tell me how to get the air out easy, I have about 1 million little bubbles popping up and the steering gets hard and easy and hard again over and over again?
