94 ls400 can't pull codes

I have a 94 ls 400. I am trying to pull codes but it will not go into diagnostic mode. I followed the proper procedures but nothing happened. Check engin light is on and trac off light is on. car is in limp mode. Please help.

A 1994 has a OBD I system, so make sure your scanner is good for OBD I & II.
If scanner is good, it could be a blown fuse for the DLC connector.
