ok, just a pic of a few tools.

"mule" for paint testing, Tamiya Primer (that finally is back on the market), and my home made sander.

Re: Another S-13

Is that "mule" a chopped up 206 pug? Keep up the cool progress. Good luck with the rest of this.

yes it is/was a pug 206.

it was the body shell from the "sander", it started life as a taiwanese copy of a tamiya mini 4wd.

i only wanted the wheels, but they were too small, so it ended up that i spent $3 on a sander.

started side skirts on it, i test fitted the alternate bumper from the kit and noticed a 5mm difference in height between it and the sides, so i got out some plastic and carved away. later i will do a rear apron.
later on you will see my secret

no pics yet, they will come soon.

pics of the skirts, kind of crappy, but the best i can do in this horrible rainy weather.

skirts arent done yet, just the basic shape done, i'm going to taper the edges so it fits in with the body better.

does anybody have any suggestions as to what i could put on the sides of the skirts to make them less slab like?
my secret is getting closer to being revealed

yeah, my camera is good for larger things, but really bad for smaller items.

i can use an SLR and develop my own film, but i have no film, and just used my digital.

Your camera doesn't have a macro mode? (usually a little button/icon that looks like a flower)

Re: Another S-13

here is a suggestion, take the pics from a bit of a distance, then use paitnshop pro, or photostudio to crop and zoom in on your intended subject, I bet you'll get a much better pic, and it usually only takes a second or two longer than just resizing.
