Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
Oops, I really hope the name change has nothing to do with my latest WAY off-topic replies . If that was the case I apologize about it.
Best regards, Oscar.

Better to keep it here at Grand Prix where we are one big happy family and enthusiasts that share common interests related to the Pontiac Grand Prix.

Hey Bob, somehow I knew moppie had his hands in the off-topic forum name change. And how long is his stickie going to be at the top of the main forum?

I think the idea on that forum is somehow good but unfortunately everybody seems to pull their own way.
Why I can't seem to find the RSS feed icon, Is it disabled?

Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
Maybe I should have rephrased that, How long are we stuck looking at his stickie at the top of the forum. The title makes it sound like an advertisement. Or like one of those stupid telemarketer cell phone calls you get and they leave you a voicemail to the effect of... "hello fellow american, I wanted to share with you a great way to lower you credit card debt by consoldating...." blah blah blah.

Tim, I guess they will do anything when grasping for straws. Your guess on how long is as good as mine.

Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
Well We just got back at 3:00 AM this morning, looking at this 100 acre parcel in Barbourville Ky, that we want to buy.
The weather down there on Thursday was in the 60s and on Friday it was in the 70s and in Chicago it was in the 30s. Wanted to turn around and head back down there and enjoy the warmer weather. |

Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
Bob, thank God, keep that smut off our boards.
Drhardwar, that sounds amazing. If your interested in selling a couple acres to me to build a house and a pole shed to start a repair business, let me know the price!

Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
Speaking of auto repair business the last PM I got from Bo - HotZ28 stated he started up a nice specialty one and now has approximately 5 employees/auto techs. Doing well from what I understand.
I wish I had several acres to make a nice Motocross track and happy place.

Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
Thats sweet Bob
I went and looked at one thats for sale near where I live. Its off a busy highway, 5-bay, has its own 2-acre salvage yard, towing company. It was a good price, but after talking to the guy, sounds like he's selling everything so only the building, lifts, and phone number go with. It would be a no brainer if he would include the tire machines, alignment racks, air compressor, AC machines.... But as it stands, its going to tough to get going with nothing.

Hi guys,
Just wanted to ask if any of you has ever used Lucas Steering Fix with good results? I know "there are no mechanics in a can" but I'm being curious... Oscar.

Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
If you are referring to the stuff that goes in in place of power steering fluid that is said to fix small leaks, then yes I have used it with success. When I bought my Stealth in 02 the owner told me it had a minor leak he couldn't find. It took a long time to use the whole bottle, but once I did, I no longer lost fluid.

Re: Grand Prix "Take a Break" Thread
this weather needs to end! its been too long since ive enjoyed the thrill of crusing with my windows down in the nice sunlight and a nice cool cross breeze blowing through the cabin. additionally, i long for warm, sticky roads and tires. a cruise through the Cleveland Metroparks in our 73 MGB is in order at the change of the season as well. for those who have not experience some of the nice twisty back roads of the cleveland metroparks, i recommend making a pilgrimage out here to enjoy a nice cruise!
finally got all that off my head! p.s.- i just noticed this smilley . i thought myself, "theres no way thats what i think it is". sure enough, its titled "jerking". awesome. hahah |
