Re: Honda Fit fuel filter
I believe it will be in the engine bay before the fuel line connects to the rail.
Most likely attached to the firewall. Can you trace the in feed line back towards the tank?

Re: Honda Fit fuel filter
Yes you will have to drop the tank & remove the pump. Those kind of filters are only serviced when the pump fails. Not sure if the Fit has an access hole inside the car to get at the pump, uncommon for Honda's. The older Civic's could be accessed without removing the tank, that's only one I know of.

All of the 90's cars should have an access hole, either under the seat, or boot floor. My Civic, Prelude and Accord do or did. The post 2001 cars are all built on a different platform, so may need the tank dropped. Should be easy to pull the backseat and lift the carpet to find out though.

Re: Honda Fit fuel filter
I don't understand why all cars don't have access holes. Nothing worse than dropping a 30+ gallon tank that is full. Some of the Accords(98-02) need to have the rear frame dropped in order to get the tank out. That's exactly the reason there so should be an access hole!
