Bought a couple of Revell kits - any comments

i bought a couple of Revell kits the other day - Smart car, and Ford Escort Mk.2 Rally GB 1979

i normally steer away from Revell kits, but i thought i'll have a bash as the Smart car was on a sale

Escort looks good, but i hope i wont have any problems in building it, and will be built as per instructions

Smart car looks good with opening doors and its tiny! u get 3 different colours of bumpers and doors, but im going to do something different, im going to carbon fiber the bumpers and doors to give it a patterned look.
it'll be my first time in using CF decals and have already ordered from HLJ

Absolutely, get that putty out and clear the body of ejection marks and pinholes and it might work out fine... with lotsa patience.

The SMART was an extremely fun kit. Many paint choices with the different body panels. Have fun with it. That Escort tho...try to not rip your hair out cleaning it up. Hehe.
