some quick questions

Sorry if these questions have been asked a billion times but i can't get the answer I am looking for.
What type of epoxy do you use to make custom kits. Like the SAS ones.
What is this styrene stuff. And Finally where can I get all of these supplies and models at. I don't have a hobby shop near me but I am going to go to a Hobbytown soon. Do they have this stuff there.
Thanks for any help.

those are all anwserd in the FAQ....

but just to anwser your questions.

Most custom body kits that you buy...such as the SAS ones are molded from Resin. You can make your own though. Tamiya Epoxy putty is usually the putty of choice, although any Epoxy putty would work.

Styrene is plastic. Its the exact same stuff that your car is molded with. Its used to make custom parts, fix parts, add to parts. Hundreds of uses. Evergreen is the major company for generic pieces such as sheets, tube, rod, beam. Plastistruct (SP) is the company for molded styrene such as rock walls, colored clear plastic, steps, roof beams. Just about anything from them.

a few places to buy from...

www.scaleautostyle.com
www.hlj.com
Walmart
K Mart
your local hobbyshop

anyone else feel free to add to the list of stores...Just look in the FAQ...they have a big list in there.
