Yes, that is not bieng touched for a while yet. I think that all the Lotus Esprit are snapped up now, and are finishing production in late '03. There were only 7 left last time I checked in January.

Id give my life to have lotus focus its whole production towards US ...sorry jsb
I saw a sweet black lotus esprit yesterday (my birthday no less), and I loved it! I don't know anything else about the car, especially the one I saw, but I looked it up and saw that these things are great: relatively cheap and if you can get a nice color, very striking. I loved how low it was and it reminded me of a baby Lamborghini Diablo. I am seriously thinking about getting one in the future.

I didnt know that esprit's were so rare. I would have never thought it constidering that there are a few in winnipeg, a city with no lambos and few ferraris. I have personnaly only seen one, i was driving in the city last year and it sped past me. i quickly changed my mind of going home and followed if for 15 - 20 minutes. It was an old one, not sure what year.
Another one that i know of is right by my best friends house (next block over) i have never seen it, but he's a car nut and would not joke about that.

I have always liked the Esprit. I would snag one in a second if I had that kind of bank. People say they are dated and such but I don't think so...the new V8's are sweet! I saw a black one a few days ago and about smacked into the truck in front of me looking at it.

I think today people are into those round cars, it's the trend (360, 350Z etc..) The lotus just looks evil with it's swooped up front end. For the money it's a serious supercar and I would take it over most (except that CLK-GTR)
