Hello, I just recently bought myself an Audi, the exact model is in the title, and I've got few questions about that car. I've been looking around that engine thinking to myself what could I do to make it a bit more powerful. What I know so far is that I am going to put there an air intake, I guess that's a good way to start, but really what I am wondering about is when I would like to throw a turbo in there, because the one that already exist is not the one connected to the manifold, so if I wanted to install one there, what parts would I have to change, I heard around that there is few steps that has to be done before you can tune the engine up, but I am not sure what are those. Also from what I've seen on internet, the blow off valve is not too good for the engine, so I'll avoid that.
So that's pretty much all that I have to ask for now, other than that, I need to get some maintenance work done as well, read on the internet that the T-Belt should be changed at 90k miles, as well with the tensioners, water pump and so on, so I definitely want to check on that, and in addition some regular stuff like oil change, brakes and stuff like that.
After I am done with the engine I would do a little bodywork, already found few parts that I would like to change, and probably will paint the car as well, its green right now lol, but that's for later.
Also would like to add that this is my first car, so I would appreciate any tips that have to do with that particular car.
