1985 S-15 woes any takers?
Wonder... if anyone could shed some light on this?
I was plowing with my 1985 s-15, 5 speed, 4wd. clutch started to get soft, so I had to pump a couple.. in order to shift, one time clutch was down couldn't pump up so it stalled couldn't get it out of gear popped it out of gear. now it feels like transfer isn't engaged. allthough the clutch was smoking and stank, but it was also brand new. NowI can start the truck run the trans through the gears without a clutch? and its not engaged at the transfer it seems cause not even resistance. poped the linkage off the shifter thinking it is locked up and out of gear put in each of the gears by hand and still nothing at the driveshafts. Any thoughts? |
