My horizon Problems!

I just paid 100 dollars for a none-running 1988 Horizon. They said that it was losing oil pressure and one day it just died and hasn't started since. He thinks the battery might be dead so i'm going to recharge it but, if it was losing oil pressure, what might be the problem? Also they replaced the timing chain and didn't replace the water pump, could that be it maybe?

Re: My horizon Problems!

get a book and learn about the car, the water pump moves water through the engine and ragiator to keep it cool, nothing to do with oil pressure, low/no oil pressure is not a good thing, pump went bad, oil pickup got clogged, if the motor seized trash it and get a junkyard replacement unless it is a GLH model
