Dash fan blower stopped working after bump
A lump of snow froze behind my passenger front wheel well that I didn't notice. The size of a basketball
Anyway, driving over a cattle guard it got bumped pretty hard and my heater fan immediately stopped working. The contact it made was like dropping into a speed bump or curb. All the lights work, I can change the temp, I can hear the blender doors activate when I switch from dash/floor/defrost, and there is heat at the vents, just no fan to blow it. I read that the fan motor is behind the glove box, could the bump have knocked it loose or something? Is there anything near the passenger front tire connected to the heater fan that could have been messed up? This is a Chrysler 2001 lhs Thanks |
