By proof, I mean, a circulation title, a sight on a road not the press release from McLaren. I wonder if it has a COC

Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

I know - it was a mild attempt at humor.

"F1 MCL" is a real plate owned by McLaren and now fitted to Ron's F1. Whether the DVLA ever knew that 56XPGT wore it is anyone's guess.

Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

On what can only be described as 'very good authority' I have now been told that all three F1 GTs are actively registered.

The prototype carries a standard UK registration though I don't take that to mean that it ever gets driven. In fact previously I was told quite the opposite which is a shame.

Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

I haven't checked recently, but for the first time in a very long time #28R does not appear on the BingoSports stocklist for their Tokyo showroom. Hope it found a good home finally.

Re: Recap of the Japanese F1 fleet - Take 2

Yes - odd that the GT wasn't around () and #006 which they also owned at the time would have likely been headed back from Woking shortly after appearing at the 20th Anniversary gathering at the MTC.

I need the chassis number of that XJR-15...anyone?

Good photos though, shame they don't let the cars out to play, can't imagine the LM has many miles on it.
