nsx or m3?
Ok, so I drive a 99 M3 and I love it a lot. It's the best all around car, but the nsx just looks sooo sweet. The m3 looks sweet too, but a red nsx looks like a true sports car. How fast are nsx's? Since I have a 99 w/27K I would be looking at early models of the nsx. Thanks for the help.

They're around the same performance figures as your M3. Between 280-290hp. And I agree with you on the looks. If you want to go faster still there are superchargers, and a whole array of performance parts you can purchase for the NSX. Be lucky Honda makes it, because you know there is a slue of crap for it.
Good Luck!

there really not comparable at all.......the m3 is meant to be a touring coupe that has all the comforts taht you could want along with the speed and handling abilty.....The NSx expsesialy in the earlier years is a no bs true sports car.....yeah there are leather seats but you wont find half of the computer assists that your M3 has.....having driven an M3 once i dont know why you would want to sell it......its the sweetest car i have ever been in.....i cant speek for the NSX cause i have never driven one but the thing sure as hell looks good....i dont think that you can go wrong either way......its a honda so even for a sports car its goin to last forever and be able to be driven hard day after day.......keep the M3 and get a NSX for the weekends.....sounds like a waste but go for it

yah...going with what Ryan said, for practicality reasons, you should keep the M3.
If you have another beater car to keep you okay, take the NSX. |

I have to say NSX. I've had 2 E36 M3's in the past and I love the cars. But the NSX is soooo much more fun to drive. I love this car. Never had any problems with it, and it attracts soo much attention. Only downside is the cost to mod it, it's expensive to fix(aluminum body), and its under appreciated.
Good Luck Z |

that's funny what ryan said, live in trailer to get a nice car. that's what my friend is actually doing, she's living in trailer so she can get a viper. but as for the nsx and m3, from what i know, the nsx have no problem smoking a m3 in the 1/4 both running stock.

my NSX broke down!!! sorta
haha my NSX finally gave it's first break down. The car is a 1992, and after redlining it from san diego to los angeles a coolant hose in the engine bay leaked. Not bad considering it never been to the dealer once and raced ocassionally for a few years. I was suppose to replace the hose 7 years ago, but I figured if it ain't broke dont' fix it. Guess it's time for me to replace them all.

Go for the NSX! I'm going from a 2002 540i to a new NSX toward the end of the year. My bmw is ok but I grew bored of it quickly. It's a nice car but lets face it, no matter how well a bmw performs, they will never LOOK like a sports car. I feel like I'm driving my grandpa's car and I don't think much different about the M series. The front view on any bmw is incredible but that's where it ends - no curves or character to the body, except for the Z4 but anyone can get one of those. I thought it would be a good cross between sport car/practical car. It turned out to be a little too practical (boring). My old 80' Z28 used to turn more heads! Plus, I see bmw's everywhere in my city. Kind of takes the pump out of owning one.
