Steve,
I am tuned to this one for sure. Are you going to weather it a bit like your fine Subaru? |

Those look like totally different wheels, or he's insane and somehow shaped the Revell wheels. If those are indeed different wheels, where did you get them? I'm currently stuck with the Revell wagon wheels.

Re: "WIP" 2007 Audi R10 24H of Lemans Winner
The wheels are hard to get right, Revells are decent, but in order to get them correct, you have to use a file and an exacto knife to get it down to this:
http://www.championracing.net/2006/a...70331-0351.jpg The SP Ozs are a very nice choice, the best for the R10. Curious, what material did you use for the seat belts? It looks exactly like the fabric should! |

Where can the Scale Production wheels be purchased?

I got them from Media Mix, but they only had 1 set left
http://www.mediamixhobby.com.sg/cata...oducts_id=3626 I believe Stradasport has them, but I'd email first to find out

Small Update
here are the tires done, with the Michelin and OZ decals (hard to see with the chrome) done. I used my Dremel to get the mold lin out and give the tires a little rubber feel.
Started the Body, this was sprayed with TS-14 Black and TS-30 Silver Leaf. The Tow hook is from the KA-models set, the Dexter one broke off and I lost it (it is barely off and looks a tick cocked but I don't want to break it off and fix it as the splitter has been glued to the monocouque (sp). the small grilles on the front are also from the Dexter set Brakes are from the KA-set again with the Dexter brake coolers covered in CF. monocouque (sp) also now fully CF (although pics show faults, they will be covered with the plate the interior: I started working on some of the soon to be wiring. the ECU? or some other electronic box had some molded bumps, but sanded those down and added Top Studio connectors. the bottom piece was part of a second box which Revell had to sit on the plate which was incorrect. all the tools and wiring is all under the plate (another of Revells many mistakes) pic of real car enjoy and please comment (good or bad) if you wish

Re: "WIP" 2007 Audi R10 24H of Lemans Winner
Awesome! Unfortunately I lost the electric box that goes on the cockpit floor. I love all the extra details you've added, especially the photo etch brakes and resin brake covers. You're putting me to shame! j/k.
Have you gotten the rims to fit on to the hubs? Keep up the good work

no, but I'm gonna ever so carefully enlarge the rims holes to they can fit. then I'll prolly fix them so they don't roll.

Re: "WIP" 2007 Audi R10 24H of Lemans Winner
Very nice job! Love the detail of the brakes. The cover in the cockpit wasnt added until late of 06 if I remember correctly. Are you going to make one to put over instead?
