#24 DuPont Monte Carlo

Hi everybody!

At the weekend I start a new project. This. It's an AMT kit. I think everybody knows what are the problems with their models. So, I won't explain it. In the first round I made the frame. I glued together the parts, and painted it. And glued together the parts of the engine. I painted the engine too, but I realized the exhaust is not the best what I've ever seen. So, I made a new from wire. I hope You like them.

Re: #24 DuPont Monte Carlo

Hi boys & girls!

A very little update. I made the ignition wires. I'll paint the white parts with flat black.

Re: #24 DuPont Monte Carlo

Hi,

so I worked a bit in this project. I painted the chassis with Tamiya X-2 White. On the frame are little black things. I made them from paper handkerchief.

I made the cool box, too. I made from sheet styrene and tubing, I covered it with cigarette foil.

The engine is already done.

Nice start so far. Look forward to seeing the body with some colour on it.

Re: #24 DuPont Monte Carlo

It seems better with these wider stripe. But You have right. It wider than the real, but i couldn't make it smaller. =/

Re: #24 DuPont Monte Carlo

Hi all!

After a long brake I'm back with the finished model. Most of it is out of box, I just added some detail inside. I really didn't like building this project, but the result is pretty nice to me.
