lude vs. 4
so last saturday night i was out after eating dinner with my friends. i was, by no stretch of the imagination, looking for a race. anyways, first car was a stock looking rsx type s was all i could see with an asian dude driving. i was on an empty 45mph road so he looks over and gives me the meanest look. we both drop to 2nd at about 40 and i get a 3/4car jump and follow through until end of 4th with about 2...2 1/4 cars on him. coming up to the next light i slow to stop when it turned orange but he sped right through it. next, was a nice nice looking crx. metallic grey with tints, and black rims. the kid looked young, and all i could see inside was his gauges. we weaved through traffic until we got straightaway. at 30-35 idrop second and so does he and surprisingly he got a 1carjump. by mid 3rd i catch up and pass him and shut down at mid 4th. a kill, but only by about 3/4 car. i was shocked. and gave him thumbs up. 3rd was a hyundai elantra....not even a race. last was a black ws6 trans am with an older man and his son. easy kill for me. I beat him by about 3-4 cars.. too easy i guess...
footnotes: in the last sentence, by "I" i meant him and by '3-4 cars' i meant buslengths....yeah..i peed my pants as he rumbled pass me.the turbulance as he passed almost tipped my car over..

Re: lude vs. 4
no, what i think happened was that i led by 3/4 car b/c i shifted slightly before himthen he followed. also, i just recently did some minor weight reduction (spare, backseats, AC, sub) so maybe taht tied in a little too, but you can never really be sure in street races ya know.

They're 2500lbs stock. I got that time running full interior too.. was my last run of the day. Also got a 14.9, and 14.8 that day.

Re: lude vs. 4
I am really 17, just got my 93 H22 lude, yeah I dont know that much, but it came with a GReddy Exhaust System, AEM cold air intake, headers, and then everything else is stock even tires. well enough of my car. I have beat a 94 integra-stock besides exhaust, v6 Mustangs, F-150's, civic's, del sol's, 95 integra(I think) and just last sat. I beat a freakin Mustang GT. Well it was probably that he was a bad driver wchich I really dont think but well I cought up to him at around 40mph and I dogged the s@#t out of him. when we got to the red light ahead he just burned tire but I was bout a car and a half on first. was doing bout 60 on third and was ahead bout still a car. well anyways I ended up just always ahead and then noticed him slowing down. All this was done on 249 Interstate HWY in southeast TX. Well since I am a beginner I wanted to know what I can do to make my lude faster, besides getting it turboed, and like how much does it cost to get it Dynoed, im really a freakin beginner but been driving standard since bout 13.driving since 10.
well just wanted to say my stuff. |

Re: lude vs. 4
Since you a beginer, the first thing you should know is NOT to post in really old threads. This one was nearly a year old.

Re: lude vs. 4
No, he means before you posted in this thread, the last post was in January, almost a year ago. It's an old thread, he's saying that you should just make a new thread. And just another friendly pointer, we're all here to help, but don't cope an attitute at people here, it's a good way to get them mad.
