p0103 code thrown.. what gives 96 integ.. 4 cyl.. 160,000 miles.. maintained well.

just wondering if anyone has had this code thrown and what resolved the issue.. car seems to have loss of power to a degree but not too noticable.. a little sluggish on start off.. almost as if a misfire.. everything else seems fine.. I took the mass air flow off and cleaned it .. and noticed the boot had never been tightened down was extremely loose.. dont know if that may have set off the code but it was left that way for over 2 years why now all of the sudden did the code get thrown...
anyone be glad to hear suggestions here..

thats a mass airflow code (high input) probably an internal problem to the mass airflow. If you wanted to digg deep you could make sure that the wires from the pcm to the mass airflow are good.

bottom line is the circuit is open, either in the mass airflow, the wires, or inside the pcm. I'd check the wires then buy a mass airflow and see if that fixes it, if not try a pcm (thats expensive)
