I'm a big fan of the Turtle Wax Polishing compound (black bottle) and Turtle Wax Wax (green container with yellow clear top). My LHS doesn't carry the Tamiya stuff, and even if they did, I'm not convinced it would be that much better. I've used this over decals and never had a reaction. Looking forward to seeing more progress! |

branding done.
FYI, the red is not perfect, the red brightens on each little fix and even though you can't really see it in the pics, you will be able to see them up close, I'm sort of banging my head as I should sprayed the red also. but anyway enjoy cheers

Re: "WIP" 2007 Audi R10 24H of Lemans Winner
Great update! I definitely have this one on my to build list. Can you post pics of the Revell brakes? I'm not in to all the aftermarket stuff; I only build box stock. Just wonderin' how bad OOB will end up?

Fantastic work! I love that black, its great looking. The red looks fine on the pc, so no worries there. Love the brakes as well.

Re: "WIP" 2007 Audi R10 24H of Lemans Winner
the R10 always runs the brake covers now (thats why there are no longer any great glowing brakes at night from the car) the covers are only 5 bucks and make a great addition

Those brake covers are also why Audi lost Sebring.

Re: "WIP" 2007 Audi R10 24H of Lemans Winner
well its been a while since a last update, but I'd like to get the car done before I move, so I've decided to build it as a Curbside model, I feel that it will look better anyway by being a curbside as the Revell engine may take a year to detail. still have to add CF detail in the rear but it will be done
once again, not realizing it but the front tow hook broke off again, luckly KA has a second one. so here are a few teaser shots (sorry for the pics, kinda rushed them). enjoy
